The Granada Park development has received a voluntary Florida Green Development Designation as administered by the Florida Green Building Coalition, Inc. (FGBC). The Granada Park team of design consultants utilized the FGBC's Green Development Standard as a guide in the selection of green features. Each feature selected earns points when totaled must meet or exceed minimum required to receive the designation. Additionally, Granada Park's residences will also be designated, separately as Green Homes administered by FGBC. Each homeowner will have the ability to improve their energy efficiency through available cost-effective "green" options.
The end result will be a neighborhood that is pleasant to live in with residences that are healthy and affordable to operate.
Benefits of purchasing a Granada Park residence include . . .
- Value of community amenities
- Healthier living for residents
- Reduction in yearly operating expenses
- Satisfaction of ownership in a green community
